Reserve your machine up to 14 days ahead so it is waiting in the locker when you arrive — here is exactly what happens from start to finish.

Pick your court & slot
Open booking.tennismachine.com.sg in your browser. Choose 1 hour ($35) or 2 hours ($50), then pick any date up to 14 days ahead and a start time. Slots run around the clock, from early morning to late night.

Pay the rental fee — that's all for now
Pay securely online when you book. We partner with Stripe, the world's leading payment processor, to ensure your transaction is safe and secure.

Unlock & play
The Unlock button on your booking goes live 30 minutes before your start time. Tap it at the smart locker, take out the machine along with 130+ balls, a transport cart and a ball picker, then head to the court and start training.

Return & get your deposit back
When you are done, come back to the locker and tap "Unlock again" to open it. Place everything back in the locker and lock it. Finally, tap the "I've returned the equipment" button to complete the session. Once we've confirmed that the machine is returned in good condition, the security deposit hold is released automatically — no extra steps.

Yes. You can reserve a smart-locker machine up to 14 days ahead — pick your court, session length, date and start time, with slots available around the clock. You pay only the rental fee when you book; the refundable S$200 security deposit hold is applied when your session starts. The Unlock button on your booking activates 30 minutes before your start time, and if plans change you can reschedule your slot free of charge — or cancel for a full refund — up to 24 hours before your start time.
Is there any upfront payment for tennis ball machine rental?
For self-service smart-locker rentals you pay only the rental fee online when you book — $35 for 1 hour or $50 for 2 hours. A refundable S$200 security deposit hold is applied when your session starts and released after you return the machine. Daily and weekly rentals are arranged via WhatsApp.
Where are the smart lockers located?
Our first self-service smart locker is at ActiveSG Sport Village @ Jurong Town (166 Yung Kuang Road, Singapore 611166), right beside the tennis courts — and we are adding new locations. See the Locations page for the full list and map.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. Self-service bookings include a refundable S$200 security deposit hold on your card to cover the machine while it is in your care. The hold is only applied when your session starts — not when you book ahead — and is released once the machine is returned to the locker in good condition.
