Quick answer: a ball machine locker for tennis venues

Tennis Machine SG (GX TECH PTE. LTD., UEN 202503838W) installs and operates a Smart Tennis Hub — a self-service locker holding a professional tennis ball machine, 130+ pressureless balls, a cart and a ball picker — at Singapore sports centres, tennis academies, hotels, schools and other court venues, with no capital expenditure or staffing for the operator. Players book, pay and unlock it from their phones, which gives solo players a reason to book courts at off-peak times. Tennis Machine SG pays the venue a base rental plus a share of the gross rental revenue generated at the site, or a fixed rental, gives the venue its own page on tennismachine.com.sg, and starts every placement with a risk-free 3-month pilot.

Who It Works For

Empty Courts Are a Partner Problem

Most quiet court hours aren't a lack of players — they're players without someone to hit with. Plenty of people would book a court at 7am or 3pm on a weekday if they had a partner. A ball machine is that partner, available whenever your courts are.

The Hub doesn't take court time from anyone. Players book the court with you, exactly as now, and reserve a machine slot to match — so every machine session is a court booking you might not otherwise have had.

Commercial Terms for Venues

Venues with steady court traffic usually do best sharing the upside; a fixed rental is there if you'd rather have certainty.

Term

One year, auto-renewing, terminable by either party on one month's written notice, after a risk-free 3-month pilot. We're equally happy to adopt your standard concessionaire or licence terms.

Already Running, With Nobody on Duty

Our first locker has rented out a professional ball machine with no staff present since early 2026. It sits at Yew Luck Luck Convenience Store, a short walk from the courts at ActiveSG Sport Village @ Jurong Town: players book online or scan the QR code, then pay, unlock, play and return everything themselves, at any hour. Everything a host venue gets already runs there — the booking app, card payments, verified accounts, the deposit hold, remote unlocking and support.

Why Not Just Buy a Ball Machine?

Buying one looks simpler until someone has to own the bookings, the keys, the charging and the repairs. Here is the comparison side by side.

Compare buying a machine with hosting a Hub
Topic Buy a machine yourself Host a Smart Tennis Hub
Upfront cost A four-figure purchase — typically S$1,200 to S$3,000 or more for a reliable battery model — plus balls, a cart and lockable storage Nothing. We fund the cabinet, the machine, 130+ balls, the cart and the picker
Bookings & payments Someone keeps a booking sheet and collects fees — or it is free, first-come and nobody keeps track Our booking app, 24/7, paid by card through Stripe
Keys & handover Staff or security sign the machine out and back in None — the cabinet opens only for the player who booked
Charging, balls & repairs Your team charges batteries, replaces worn balls and arranges repairs Ours: regular site visits, ball replacement and servicing
Damage & misuse The venue pays to repair or replace A refundable S$200 deposit hold on every session, plus our equipment insurance
Liability Falls on the venue as the equipment provider Our public liability insurance, and a waiver every player accepts before the cabinet opens
Money A cost line in the budget, every year A base rental plus a share of the revenue the Hub earns at your courts
If it doesn’t work out You own an idle machine We remove it at our cost and make good the space
